Lifted blue and blackberry fruits dominate the bouquet with cedar and varietal leafy nuances. Ripe and rich in flavour, the mixed fruits and earthy notes are framed by fine tannins and integrated French oak. The decomposed “granitic” soils contribute to the earthy notes, which add further richness and complexity to the wine. This is a classic Central Victorian Cabernet Sauvignon, ripe but balanced with persistent acidity and varietal character.

Light yellow in colour with a green hue, the wine is showing lifted stone and citrus fruit along with some nutty aromatic nuances. There are aromas of roasted nuts, slight match strike and a hint of vanilla oak covering up the fruit. The palate shows white peach, melon and grapefruit mingling with hazelnuts. This is wrapped in a creamy texture that is dry with crisp but gentle, firm acid at the finish.

The colour of the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon is vibrant cherry garnet with a crimson hue. The bouquet suggests rosemary and spice and is followed up with black cherry on the palate. The wine is savoury and delicious, best enjoyed with rich meats of spicy foods.

Our Cabernet Sauvignon is deep ruby in colour with lifted berry aroma and minty eucalyptus nuance. The expectation from the bouquet continues onto the palate with intense cassis, mint and mocca. Good French oak maturation together with fine structured tannins balance out this wine.

The 2008 Shiraz is full bodied with good varietal characteristics. Brick red in colour with crimson hue, the rich bouquet of spice pepper and mulberry become evident immediately upon opening. The bouquet shows mushroom, earthy spectrum characters, blackcurrant, and vanillin oak. An admirable balance has been achieved by the combination of fine, unobtrusive, long, dusty tannins and deeply-seated, strong fruit, and the components are in harmony. Its savoury, with plum, delicious chocolate, a touch of mint, coffee, and blackberry flavours, but there is some sweetness below in a secondary layer. The wine dawdles across the palate and finishes long, persistent and dry. It's ample-weight, reasonably tight and is a lovely wine with a splendid flavour profile.
